After the death of probationary sub-inspector Deepak Sharma in an encounter with gangsters in GMC Kathua, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have decided to go hard against gangsters. Police have compiled a list of active gangsters, history-sheeters, and notorious criminals in Jammu, Samba, and Kathua who were active over the past 15 years. The list includes 48 gangsters in Jammu, 30 in Samba, and 38 in Kathua. 17 points have been marked for action against them, which will be implemented. The activities of these gangsters and those working for them will be closely monitored to prevent any further incidents.
