Fire erupted in the jungles of Mendhar subdivision in the Poonch district. According to reports, areas including Balakot and Bhata Dhuriyan in Mendhar though the exact cause of the wildfires remains unclear. Fire Brigade, along with water tankers, are being used to combat the blaze. Local residents are also actively participating in the efforts to bring the situation under control.
