The Wullar Conservation and Management Authority (WUCMA) has proactively addressed the issue of poaching by installing CCTV cameras around Asia’s largest freshwater lake in Bandipora. With a significant influx of migratory birds this winter, WUCMA is actively involved in preserving and managing Wullar Lake. In addition to removing illegal encroachments, the authority has strategically placed CCTV cameras to combat poaching effectively.
