9-year-old girl was charred alive in an overnight fire at her houseboat in Dal Lake here, officials said on Friday. The houseboat at Nehru Park Dalgate Srinagar, near Ghat no.16, was gutted in a massive blaze. The body of the 9-year-old girl, Nahida Bashir daughter of Bashir Ahmad, was recovered.
