Police Awantipora received a reliable information that the active terrorist of banned terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahiddin namely Adnan Ahmad Lone R/O Brah Bandina Awantipora in pursuance of a criminal conspiracy is planning to distribute huge amount among the other terrorists of banned terrorist organization HM through two OGWs namely Danish Ahmad Lone S/O Gh. Mohd Lone R/O Brah Bandinah (Brother of Adan Lone) and Raja ilyas Makroo S/O Gh. Mohd Makroo R/O Arwani Bijbehara Anantnag, accordingly Police Awantipora rushed to Brah Bandinah Awantipora and strategically apprehended both the OGWs alongwith cash of rupees 03 lacs. During preliminary questioning it came to fore that the said amount was given to them by active terrorist Adnan Lone for its further distribution among the other terrorists/OGWs of HM organization for creating trouble/anti national activities in the coming elections and also to carry out some attacks on the SF Camps through grenade etc
Case FIR No. 180/2018 U/Ss 18, 20, 39, 40 ULA (P) Act stands registered in P/S Awantipora and the investigation has been taken up.
On 28-09-2018, Police Awantipora received a tipoff about the close association of one Irshad Ahmad Malla S /O Ab. Khaliq Malla R/O Kranzbal Tral with the terrorists of banned terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahiddin, according Police Awantipora with the assistance of 42-RR and 180 Bn CRPF cordoned the house of the said individual at Kranzal Tral and apprehended him. During search indiscriminating material like threat posters of banned HM outfit and Stamp of banned HM outfit were recovered from his possession. The said person was the mastermind in preparing the posters which were being used to threat SPOs, Political workers and other Police Officers.
Case FIR No. 94/2018 U/Ss 18, 20, 38 ULA (P) Act stands registered in P/S Tral and in this regard machinery of investigation set into motion.
