The 17th Convocation ceremony of JU today held at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium Complex of the University wherein Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was the chief guest and delivered the Convocation Address. Governor, N N Vohra, who is also Chancellor of the University, and Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, who is also the Pro-Chancellor of the University, also addressed the Convocation.
In the said Convocation, 185 candidates were awarded degrees and 59 other meritorious students were honored with the Gold Medals.
